YOUTUBE IN THE PIPELINE
Tuesday 25th March there will be an update on The Welsh Cathedral in Toxteth. It is only a short video, but I did say I would keep an eye on what is happening or not happening to this Liverpool landmark.
Friday 28th March an update on a video I made a couple of years ago regarding the army camp which was once on Speke Road in Woolton.
Currently Working On: Fashions in Buildings. A look at various building styles and fashions through the ages. The former Speke Airport remake/revisit. Gateacre Comprehensive School remake.
There is a lot more going on too, so as they say…. STAY TOOONED!
CHANNEL NEWS
My YouTube Channel has been around in its current form since 2019. It was always intended to be a hobby, with no intention of making money from it. However, Youtube make money from my channel and have done so for the past six years, by placing adverts. Over the past months I have wondered why I have never claimed my share. Many viewers presume the channel is monetised anyway.
Last week I went down the route of applying for monetisation. To my surprise, it only too a few hours to be accepted as a partner in their program, however the whole process could take a month or more to complete.
I know there are plenty of YouTube creators who film with their phones, and upload videos without any editing. Doing this minimises the cost. For me, things need to be done properly. Camera investment over the last two years stands at around £6,000, While ongoing costs such as video editing subscriptions and a royalty free music licence stand at around £200 per year. On top of this there are fuel costs incurred by travelling to most locations.
I am telling you this because a few people donate to my channel via PayPal or by a card payment and I believe it is only fair that you know that from a point in the near future, YouTube will be sending payments to me.
If you still want to donate there is a donation by Debit Card box further down this page or if you prefer to donate via PayPal there is a box at the foot of each page. Donations can also be made directly from my YouTube Channel.
As we move forward, I am aiming to add two new videos each week to the channel. The plan is one video each Tuesday and another each Friday.
